Licence To Kill (1989)

Licence To Kill (an original title) is the most serious, hard edged Bond to date, of even dry, irony laced kind of humour associated with Connery. Released in 1989, this film finds Bond operating outside of the Secret Service on a personal vendetta. The object of his revenge is Latin American drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davil), who has maimed Bond's DEA pal Felix Leiter and murdered Leiter's bride.
